The Woolly Actors Guild put out these great shorts of puppets auditioning for great Hollywood films. My favorites are these two, Scarface and Jaws. These are great and I wish they made a full length movie!
I love FriendsWithYou, this group makes the cutest art. I wish I was able to catch this show at Basel 2011, FWY are such the minimalist and they make all sorts of products! From mini sculps, prints and tees.
FriendsWithYou exhibits its latest sculptures, precious objects, and a new edition of prints. The pieces on display are figurative self-reflective treasures, levitating in a space continuum, revealing something other wise inaccessible. These archetypes and symbolic artifacts are frozen in time, and serve to empower, relate, and offer everything that is infinite and true. Inner Space, the Secrets of the Unknown provides a way of observing ourselves and finding out everything we always knew.
Do Ho Suh makes these colorful fabric architectural pieces that are spot on in scale in his new show “Home Within Home” at Leeum Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea. Their transparency gives them this almost digital CAD feeling. I like to describe them as large soft sculptures. Much like the work of Shih Jindian, I captured his work for myself at last years 2011 Art Basel in Miami, but Suh’s art for this show is much grander in size.

Southern Exposure’s Monster Drawing Rally is a live drawing event and fundraiser featuring over 120 artists.
Demystifying a process that usually takes place in the privacy of the studio, the Monster Drawing Rally allows spectators to observe artists in the act of creation in the public domain. In keeping with Southern Exposure’s mission to provide an environment accessible to art and artists, the Monster Drawing Rally sets the stage for extraordinary interaction, providing a unique opportunity to watch a drawing come to life, and to purchase a work of art minutes after its completion.
The evening will consist of four one-hour shifts that each feature approximately 30 artists drawing simultaneously. As the drawings are completed, they will be hung on the walls and made available for purchase for $60 each. Proceeds from the event provide direct support for Southern Exposure’s programs.

Lorna Mills takes popular culture and creates these magnificent and odd GIF animations. Her digital media art is looping visual candy that mashes up viral image bytes that I can relate to.
“Lorna uses different ways to create her animated GIFs, a well known one is from the huge research she makes on the Internet about viral videos, images and even found GIFs, then she manipulates it to create her animated collages to show to the viewer her own story, her own world.” – Triangulation Blog
